Medial Heel Wedge
When should it be used?
This pad should be used to exert a gentle supinatory force on the calcaneum to help reduce pronation of the foot.
1 First Steps
Start by cutting a piece of semi compressed felt into a shape that follows the contour of the heel on one side.
Note: a medial heel wedge is half of a heel pad.

2 Bevel the pad
Proceed to bevel the pad, and depending on its thickness, you may want to consider doing a double bevel along the straight edge of the pad.
- This prevents there being too steep an angle on the pads edge.
- You can perform single bevels on the rest of the pad.
