Our own money values influence the decisions we make on our fees, whereas it should be the needs of our businesses that are important. So if our businesses need equipment / staff / CPD to enable it to grow and provide a better patient experience, then our fees should be set accordingly. They should not be set based on what others are charging nearby or further afield.
In this video, Jonathan Small, the original WSNHer, explains how he introduced a tiered pricing structure after realising that flat rate fees were unfair to patients, and did not satisfy the needs of his business. This helped transform his business to enable it to not only survive, but to thrive in his local area despite apparent competition from others.
